Office for waste management of the City of Karlsruhe

At the gable end of the municipal office for waste management there is this lettering made of red tubes.
It was probably installed in 1993 after completion of the building extension. The director of the office at that time did not want to have one of these standard sheet metal signs on the facade. The lettering should show a progressive, dynamic and successful waste management.
The project was implemented by the Office for Building Construction and Building Management of the City of Karlsruhe. The manufacturer of the device can no longer be determined.

As of 01.01.2023, the Office of Waste Management has been transformed into the Eigenbetrieb TEAM SAUBERES KARLSRUHE. The neon sign with the old designation has been removed. During disassembly it was damaged, so it was subsequently disposed of.
