For many years it stood still and remained dark – the big red “M” on the roof of the silo of the “Moninger” brewery. In 2011, brewery business was closed down at this location. The “Moninger” brand no longer existed in this form. However, the brand logo on the roof remained – fortunately. Because in 2021, there was a new start for the brand. The large “M” was restored. Since September 2021, it has once again been revolving above the rooftops of Gruenwinkel – and in the dark it glows a rich red.
