On this building, the light tubes are used for three different purposes at once. First, they are part of a vertical cantilever facing Adlerstrasse / corner of Zähringerstrasse. This cantilever is made of colored glass with backlighting; the tubes are attached as lettering on the glass. Furthermore, there are blue and red tubes in the roof above the entrance area and thus serve as lighting. As a further element, there is a circumferential band on the upper edge of the first floor with blue tubes.

The cantilever and the roof over the entrance have been removed. The circumferential tubes are still present.
